Sushant Singh Rajput suicide: Case filed against Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor in Bihar
A case has been registered against Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor and five people in reference to Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide in Bihar Court.
Sushant Singh Rajput's death left many in shock. The actor, who hailed from Patna, committed suicide on Flag Day. He was 34 years old.
Now, advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha has filed a complaint against Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor, and 4 people in reference to Sushant's death during a court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur.
While informing ANI, Sudhir Kumar Ojha said, "I have filed a case against 8 people including Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan & Ekta Kapoor under Sections 306, 109, 504 & 506 of IPC in reference to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case during a court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. (sic)."
A case has been filed under Sections 306 (Abetment Of Suicide), 109 (Punishment of abetment if the act abetted is committed in consequence and where no express provision is formed for its punishment), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to impress breach of the peace) and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of IPC.
Karan Johar was massively trolled after he expressed grief over Sushant's death on Twitter. Netizens called out the filmmaker for mocking Sushant on his chat show Koffee With Karan, in an episode featuring Alia Bhatt.
Sushant's last rites were performed by his father at Pawan Hans Crematorium on June 15. His friends from the industry, including Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Mukesh Chhabra, Vivek Oberoi and more, were present at the crematorium to mention their final goodbyes.
